"Educating for Life and Eternity"
In 2003 Word of Life International School opened its doors with great fanfare to 21 pre-school kindergarten to grade 3 students. While June 21, 2003 marked the first day of class for a new Christian elementary school for the Word of Life Uganda, planning for that date started several years earlier.

The decision to begin the Christian School grew out of specific, identified need.. First, it was recognized that a new Christian elementary school was needed to meet a growing demand. The known Christian schools were not affordable to meet the needs of the growing demands of Christian parents. Second, Uganda is filled with young families, with the number growing and the need even more evident. Many of these families seeking Christian education for their children. Third, Word of Life seeks opportunities to serve the community; in all things Word of Life Uganda seeks to be "not for ourselves, but for Christ." One of the ways that Word of Life Uganda is able to serve God’s people and the community is through the Christian School. |
